I recently saw some "news" sites and blogs reporting on an apparently racist tweet made by Wendy's. Apparently, the source of this outrage was a meme of Wendy's mascot as Pepe the Frog. Pepe memes have been the source of a lot of controversy, with some people claiming that they are a racist tool of the alt right or something like that.
