Found these guys in the Los Padres National Forest outside of Santa Barbara. Despite the urban legend that they are extremely venomous but lack large enough fangs to bite humans, harvestmen are completely harmless, lacking fangs or venom at all. Although they are arachnids, they are not spiders and belong to a separate order.
