The karma system rewards those who make good posts and keeps people away from making (more) sucky posts (in the fear of getting negative karma). The second was experienced by your posts on the previous page.

Therefore it does its job and raises the average quality of posting. People only complain about the system when they get negative or when they feel like people are abusing it. The first is a bad excuse, the second can be easily countered (sometimes also by mods).

Now go listen to Ric and drop this topic. This thread needs serious ships. A lack of ships was a reason I started to dislike this thread. And now I’m also guilty of that as well.

That’s another thing btw about this thread. Too many reaction posts and attention whoring. Not every ship needs to result in another 20 nonsense posts. Even though the last couple of posts can’t directly be seen as nonsense, they do qualify as them.
