Another thing I have noticed is a tendence of some people to express their love for a certain characters by compiling an evolution chart of his/her design.
Like this:

No care if the character is lasting since many years or fewest ones. If there's a change in his design it's worth to be told.

Too IRL, for my tastes. Several companies do this to showcase how their products changed over time.
