Alec Baldwin's Ghost Meltdown was inspired by Baldwin's reaction after a physical altercation with a paparazzo, where he then proceeded to walk around in public wearing a sheet. The meme references lines from Baldwin's 1989 film Beetlejuice where he and Geena Davis attempt to scare away new occupants by wearing sheets, aka, DEATH SHROUDS.
