I F**KING LOVE THE CARAMELLDANSEN.

The only sad part is, an ex girlfriend of mine got me into it.

Therefore, every time I listen to it, it makes me want to punch babies.

I first heard Caramelldansen during my last year at university. Just for the record, having this song on repeat does not help productivity in the slightest. Still, least it puts you in a damn good modd. ’cept you, Dave. Sorry about that =/

Dave, if you want more sped up dance music that you won’t associate with your ex, just look up anything in the Happy Hardcore genre. I went through a huge HHC phase around 1999-2001.

I prefer Diskotek.

Love the Happy Hardcore and any meme that incorporates it.

Great article guys!! I can give you a little bit more personal account of the whole meme itself. The cause of the whole entire meme is from an accident while DJing for internet radio station /b/radio.

Essentially what happened was on my mixer there is a function called key pitch lock, basically it allows me to speed up the record while maintaining the correct pitch, I accidentally left it off… And from there people requested what song I was playing on the /b/radio BBS, which at the time was 4chon BBS. From there the mp3 I posted spread like wildfire throughout the internet and onto 4chan itself and nicovideo.
