Derekbro is a meme taken from stories from anon in a greentext thread on the 18th September 2011.
The original poster of the Derekbro stories is still anon but works at Target.

The first Derekbro story is:

>Work at Target
>Every so often a retard comes in, his name is Derek
>Cool guy retard, knows he's special and uses it to get things, god tier tard
>Comes in with his handler
>15 minutes later comes up to my checkout with diapers, diet coke, chewing gum, sellotape and a season of House on DVD
>look him straight in the eyes
>"Hello derek."
> He hi-5's me, I check his goods out
>"Got a good evening planned?"
>"Yes sir."
> walks off.

Derekbro has been depicted as a small fat retarded child or a man with an over-exaggerated smile and long brown hair.

Soon after "derek" was posted over 1000 times in the thread and attracted a lot of "summerfag" and "candy-ass" remarks from old fags
