FESTA DURO is the brazilian version of PARTY HARD mostly used by geeks and other assiduous internet users.

However, there is a joke implied, if you make a literal translate like google translate from "party hard" on Portuguese you get the term "FESTA DURO". While "Festa" means party, the term "Duro" is hard on the meaning of solid, concrete or rock. Since the term dosent make any sense in portuguese and can only be undestood by geeks who actually know the term PARTY HARD the expression is widely used on forums, blogs and other websites.

update the term is no longer translated from english to portuguese if you do the inverse however you should get this result:

The term seems to have first appeared on half 2008 but the breakout will only happen on the end of last year
