The meme originates from episode 20, "Green Isn't Your Color".^[2] A sub-plot of the episode features Pinkie Pie^[1] continuously appearing in physically impossible contexts (from boxes, buckets, and inside a mirror) to tell Twilight Sparkle that "breaking a friend's trust is the fastest way to lose a friend, FOREVER!", in reference to secrets that Twilight Sparkle's friends had entrusted her with.
