Mauled by Cougar is a meme that popped up on GameFAQ’s Red Dead Redemption Game boards. In this game cougars are very tough and it is easy to get mauled by them. The phrase Mauled by Cougar is a way to interrupt your self for no reason. This meme has a strong resemblance to the Candlejack meme.
