About
Dios Eolo (Eolo god) is a Mexican drunk man who was interviewed by Televisa, a Mexican broadcast company. During the interview the man starts talking nonsense, he says many notable phrases and quotations (see "Remarcable Quotations") many of which are pronounced with poor grammar and coherence. He argues that he is a superhero, and that he fights bad people and that he can turn off the camera by simply looking at it, which he actually tries to do by looking straight to it.
This video had win a great popularity for the frase "Yo poleo contra la gente que es mala" (I feght with the people that is bad).
Within the Mexican YouTube community, this guy created instant lulz, as many used his videos and quiotations to create remakes of the video. The original video also included some other drunk men who also are very popular and recognizable, one of these is the famous El Canaca (The Canaca Guy)
After the original video was published in 2007 (although the interview was aired on 2002), many parodies, remixes and cartoons have appeared over the years, especially on YouTube. Here are some notable examples.
