/B/ died on 28/07/2010 when M00t stopped all threads except for one in which he put classical music to have the theme of /b/'s death. the tread got to over 3000 posts with 151 images.
everyone was saying there farewells as they prepared to enter the "real world".

last post was " Anonymous 07/28/10(Wed)05:12:19 No.258530XXX
BONDAGE GOAT ZOMBIE" – which, as, many would agree, sums up /b/.

a few minuets later, the last thread on /b/ was deleted resulting in "the death of /b/.
/b/ was to pop up again just moments later were celebrating /b/ro's posted 12 pages of threads within 1 minuet.

/b/ soon settled down as went back to its usual business of spamming and creating memes.

note: this was not just a joke from M00t but also a server update/maintenance.
