Origin

On March 21st, 2024, TikToker^[1] @rayray29910 posted a video in which she wishes her son a good day as he leaves the car for school, then says, "Skibidi toilet rizz," the son responding in disgust with, "No," before walking off. The video description reads, "Trying to hone my middle school lingo skills 😂 I don’t even know what this means 😂 No cap! Have a good day little buddy 🫶🏽😁." The video gained over 3.4 million views in two months (shown below).

The video garnered viral spread over the following months. On March 28th, 2024, TikToker^[2] @theryeofaa posted an absurdist edit of the clip where the child ages after the mother says the line, garnering over 8.4 million views in two months (shown below, left). On April 2nd, TikToker^[3] @pologbabymamareal posted a version of the video with an additional caption, garnering over 7.4 million views in a month (shown below, right).

On April 4th, YouTuber^[4] monium posted an edit of the aging meme adding the caption, "'All dreams have meanings,' 'My Dreams,'" garnering over 529,000 views in a month (shown below).

The original sound for TikToker @pologbabymamareal's video was popularized on TikTok as a source for lip dubs in May 2024. For example, on May 6th, 2024, TikToker^[5] @deedee_mega_doodoo_mir posted a video that gained over 2.2 million views in four days (shown below, left).
