Bitch, I haven't been able to be honest with my grandparents about my religion for a decade because they're convinced that people like me will suffer eternally. And no, I'm not worried about them disowning me or anything. I'm worried for them. Because they live in a world where if their grandkid didn't believe in XYZ, then they would suffer infinite punishment. And I don't want them to spend the rest of their lives worrying about my immortal soul.
