Garnet lied! And Future Boy Zoltron actually was relevant to the plot! So I just noticed something. Keep in mind that it's just speculation but it has a lot of evidence backing it up so Look at Garnet when she tells Steven that Rose shattered Pink Diamond and her reasoning behind it She had to. The Earth belonged to Pink Diamond Destroying her was the only way to save the planet. Do you see it? Let me help you out Her visor is mostly blue! Indicating that she's using her Future Vision! And if you don't believe me, they deliberately show her visor turning back to mostly pink at the end of her speech Okay so why is it important that she s using her future vision when talking to Steven? Because of what we saw in Future Boy Zoltron, which I fully admitted was my second least favorite episode of the season because I thought that it was just filler. But it actually gives us an extremely important reminder gives you the power to see multiple scenarios and pick which one has Future Vision the best outcome. Steven does this multiple times in order to figure out the right thing to say. The right thing to sayy What if that 's what Garnet did? What if she used her Future Vision in this scene to quickly determine the best thing to tell Steven so that he wouldn't be too upset and, more importantly wouldn t keep asking questions? Which begs the questions How many times has she done this to Steven? Is what she said true? And if it's not what is the truth?

Is there any proof to that theory of "if Garnet's shades are predominantly one color that means one of her half's is currently more in control than the other?" Because unless there is I'm not buying this.

I mean what reason would they have to lie to Steven at this point when he's been told what happened by someone with literally no reason to lie? Not to mention how emotional Jasper got when she said Rose did something to Pink Diamond. He knows Rose did something that doesn't line up with what he's been told of her so at this point continuing to hide the truth from him will do more harm than good.

Interesting that Garnet uses the word "Destroy" rather than "Shatter". If she was shattered why not say "Shatter"? It sounds like a Jedi-weasel word, "What I said was true, from a certain point of view."
