Wikipedia - I really love Dream posts

As a self-proclaimed pseudo armchair dream analist, my take on the meaning of this dream (assuming it was real and assuming you believe in dream meanings) must be either:

- The person currently has a "cognitive block" about something and feels lost in thought. Edd represents knowledge and the dreaming person itself, while the pitch-black background represents the blurred subconscious (which makes the dream quite meta, since dreams already represent the subconscious by themselves). Or;

- The person is seeking some knowledge or just to be smarter in general, but does not know how and is currently looking for a way. Edd represents a simplified version of what the person considers an intelligent person, and the pitch-black background is the currently unknown "place" where that knowledge is.

…whether the dream is real or not, it is always interesting to think about these things.
