I just think it's sort of callous that these parents would feel more sorry for the terrorist that killed their child over the child itself. I think it's your duty as a parent to value your children and family over other people, especially over those who would do them harm.
I know for damn well that if I was in this situation, I'd be fucking furious at the perpetrator. If it wasn't for the fact that the guy vaporized himself in the explosion, I'd be legitimately be thinking about killing him myself. Not because I hate muslims or anything but for the fact that he killed my child.
It just sort of feels like a betrayal to your family to think like they are. I can understand "loving your enemy," but I can't understand "loving your enemy and not your child."
