Honestly, crossover have the potential of making normally bad ideas actually work.

Would you ever think mixing Final Fantasy and Disney characters is a good idea by yourself..? You would have been ridiculed if you had said that in the past. And there you go: Kingdom hearts is a thing, and it works.

Would you ever think mashing up your favorite characters from yor favorite games together, no matter how unrelated they are, to be anything but a fanboy's wet dream that would not work for anything practical..? And yet:

This worked.

So really, this game may not increase people's love or acceptance towards Rabbids, but it may work as a standalone thing. Crossovers can do just that.
