1. There's a helluva difference between criticism and insult. Sometimes they may overlap, but they are still quite different.
2. Adversity and disagreement with a concept or idea tests its strength and by doing so, identifies its strengths and weaknesses so that improvements might be considered and executed.
3. Suppression of negative opinion and criticism usually hinders improvement and generally tends to piss people off.
