RWBY - Pathetic.

Volume 3: Tons of students take on Grimm in the courtyard; Pyrrha holds of Cinder singlehandedly; Ruby freezes the biggest baddest motherfucker of the Grimm onslaught with her god eyes.
Volume 4: RNJR saves a small village from a Gheist and when an airship isn't an option, they make the trip to Haven, and while Qrow is there, he's gravely injured; Ren slices the fuck out of a Nucklavee.
Volume 5: Yang leaves home of her own accord, confronts her mom twice, and gets ahold of the relic. Blake and Sun kick ass when the Belladonna home is invaded and Blake convinces Ilia to turn against the White Fang.
Volume 6: Ruby starts asking questions, taking the initiative, and keeps the team in shape despite the horrible truth being made known to them. She manages to hold off the Apathy's influence for longer than anyone else.
