In a sense, isn't Bulma aware of who Mai truly is and willing to give her a chance at starting a (almost literal) new life? Shit at times I even forget Pilaf is kind of a genius – he can also build/repair a dragon radar and Bulma commited his coding changes to a freaking time machine.

Bullma coming onto him really gave him a taste for older girls I see. If I remember right, the start of GT had some of the women at Capsule Corp admiring him as well, causing him to blush.

Still an adorable as hell couple. And not creepy like their younger counterparts seeing as Future Trunks is already an adult by the time they meet up.
