I've seen many people who claim that old anime are so cool while the new ones are trash

And as someone who watched a lot of old anime, this buffles me because they do not know wtf they are talking about. What they watch as "old anime" is a few movies and OVAs, but the average seasonal anime of the 80s and 90s have all the very same things these people complained about: Fanservice, lolis, bad animation, fillers, bad pace…. it's all always been there, but they see things through nostalgia goggles

I still remember when people had JoJo among their "real anime that no normiefag knows about"
Now that it's one of the most popular ones you don't see that type of people anymore lmao
