Doesn't really match up seeing as they were doing the same to Earth, how they saw humans in the first place too. Or that they outright say that all gems that are deformed or don't fall in line are pretty much executed.

Probably warrants mention that the Diamonds also fully committed their lives to making amends after shit went down. They weren't just let off the hook and allowed to keep up the status quo.
