I had an idea for an episode where Trixie pulls some strings to get her and Twilight Sparkle entered into the “Miss Unicorn” pageant, because she wants to publicly out-do Twilight Sparkle (and of course, Rarity would get super psyched about designing outfits for Twilight to wear). It’s supposed to highlight Unicorns who are talented with various kinds of magic, and Trixie thinks her superior showmareship will put her ahead. When her and Twilight actually enter the competition though, all the other mares are tall, supermodel-looking unicorns (basically, they look kind of like Fleur), and they're all airheads with no actual talent.

As it would turn out, looks are the only thing the judges care about, and Twilight has to choose between being herself, or trying (and failing) to conform to what the judges expect from her. There’d have to be a Miss Teen South Carolina reference in there too, where one of the other girls can’t find Equestria on a map.
