I think we have two factors at work here:

#1: Lauren Faust was ousted from MLP:FIM very early on – she's basically had no professional involvement with the show for nearly three years.

#2: However, MLP:FIM is practically the only thing anyone ever talks to her about – to the exclusion of, you know, the stuff she's actually working on right now…

I think the combination of #1 + #2 is driving her a bit loopy…

Look, Lauren Faust is NOT a Brony/Pegasister (ironically) – by her own admission she's never watched an episode of MLP:FIM. Perhaps it would be a good idea if we Bronies gave her some space.
