But still, I'm afraid this show is going the way of the Fonz.

I just checked the transcript for "Luna Eclipsed," and Twilight calls him the "father of the amniomorphic spell" – which sounds like he actually DID invent a class of spells that had not existed before. Perhaps he'll show up in the finale?
