Why do these shirts exist? Why have I seen at least 2 guys wearing them IRL? Why did one of them have a girlfriend?

And it's even worse when they're prepubescent boys. Well…clarifying "worse": I mean, I guess maybe they have more of an excuse (It's more pitiful when they're grown and still act like this), but it's more irritating to read because, haha, like they have any sort of authority.

I saw some of these shirts being sold at my convention--where a ton of us are dressed up in elaborate costumes we put tons of work into--and some dealer was offering this sort of lowlife crap. Like they think just 'cause we're nerds we're jumping at the chance to wear stupid crap just 'cause it's from the Internet (har har "cool story bro") or we're so socially terrible that we subscribe to this kind of thinking? I really could have used some laser vision backing my glare back then.
