His friends ditched him and his sister was helping with his father that night. He despairs, having an illusion about Armstrong Ozma (the black guy in the original vid) mocking him for being a baseball-playing robot.

When cut: A boy psyches up for a birthday party, but despairs after no one shows up.

While I am hesitant to say it's a Japanese meme (Japanese bros help me out), it's popular in Korean subculture. From this, it's also possible that the one who parodied this little 4-koma could be Korean/Japanese as well.
