True, he was going to do that. But you have to remember that Disney characters have died in more brutal ways, Like getting sucked into a Jet Turbine (which promptly exploded), or getting hanged by jungle vines, or getting eaten alive by hyenas (Literal bone crushing jaws), falling off of Big Ben, and getting dragged to hell kicking and screaming. So yeah, this guy ALMOST chopping a head off is pretty tame compared to what I just listed.
