Mostly due to how it wasn't against site rules (atleast I think it wasn't), and how other subreddits that have equally hateful things haven't been banned as well.
Basically, no one gives a shit about /r/fatpeoplehate, but they're worried that this selective interpretation could apply to any subreddit that goes against admin principles.
