All of that Lapidot art just suddenly became a lot less cute.

…so…anyone else getting the idea that this is technically a rape allegory, along with a necromancy/frankenstein/human centipede story?

I mean, fusion is trumped up as a metaphor for relationships, right? Now, the homeworld gems are forcing the broken bodies of former enemies together in order to form…new super soldiers?

Does this sound like a forced breeding program to anyone? Maybe that is why Garnet is freakin' the fuck out?

Sidenote- love that steven doesn't get how this is worse than any other monster. 'it is a frankenstein, right?' If this is a rape allegory, it is done subtly enough that the younger audience will not get it, and it will only show in the uncomfortable expression of the adult viewers next to them (who obviously do not want to explain why this is so terrible)
