10 Memes About TwitchCon And That Foam Pit

If you've never heard of TwitchCon, it's a convention where all the biggest streamers on Twitch gather together to meet fans and hold other cool events. For many avid fans, this is their chance to meet their favorite creators in person. Unfortunately, this year's TwitchCon was in the news for an entirely different reason, the TwitchCon foam pit of death.

In one of the booths at the convention, there was a foam pit that creators would jump safely into after completing a certain challenge. Well, that was the plan on paper, at least. What actually ended up happening was more than 3 prominent creators ended up getting serious injuries from jumping into the pit, including Adriana Chechik, who actually broke her back from the pit. Apparently, the pit was not an actual pit, and was pretty much just a floor covered in foam tiles, making it the foam pit equivalent of putting a diving board in a kiddie pool. While we obviously wish all the creators that were injured a speedy recovery, social media has not held back at making memes about the whole situation and making fun of Twitch's percieved negligence.
