According to Sigmund Freud, founder of psychoanalysis, dreams offer an important key into the subconscious. The imagery that passes behind our eyelids as we sleep can offer clues into who we are (but don't understand we are), and offer valuable insights. A group of Redditors and devoted meme freaks post the memes they see in their dreams to /r/thomastheplankengine, sharing with the world the surreal fruit of their subconscious adventures.

Basically, this subreddit collects some memorable memes that were inspired by some very disturbed dream imagery. It has little to do with Thomas the Tank Engine. And as you might expect, these memes don't make a ton of sense all the time, either.
