About

Diddy Blud, also known as Diddy Ahh Blud, is a slang term used ironically in the fallout of the Drake and Kendrick Lamar feud. It originates from an intentionally cringe tweet known as "Honestly I Think 'They Not Like Us' Is the Only Mumble Rap Song That Is Good Because They Call Out Drake for Being a Diddy Blud." In this context, "Diddy Blud" means someone who is a predator, based on the alleged crimes of rapper P Diddy, combined with the slang term "blud," meaning "person." Drake was perceived by some as a Diddy associate and Lamar called out Drake for being an alleged predator in diss tracks like "Not Like Us." As anti-Drake, anti-Diddy and pro-Lamar sentiments went mainstream via memes and corporate co-option in 2024 and 2025, parodies at the expense of Lamar's supporters and brands spread online, causing increased ironic use of Diddy Blud on TikTok and Twitter / X. Diddy Blud then became associated with brainrot humor as it was applied nonsensically as a punchline. Diddy Blud also became associated with PNGTuber JellyBean on TikTok. A series of videos of Trollface characters calling JellyBean a Diddy Blud sparked it.

Origin

On November 2nd, 2024, X[1] user @blephin_ tweeted a screenshot of an /r/memes subreddit post that said, "ME AFTER LISTENING TO MODERN RAP MUSIC FOR 10 SECONDS BE LIKE" and "It's just saying n-word and twerking." It was seemingly posted ironically to mock the Redditor and subreddit. It gained over 58,000 likes in three months.

Later on November 2nd, X[2] user @derpatron6000 replied to the tweet, writing, "Honestly I think They Not Like Us is the only mumble rap song that is good, because they call out Drake for being a Diddy blud," receiving over 15,000 likes in six months (shown below).

Spread

In the following months, the tweet spread as a copypasta on X.[3][4] On November 10th, 2024, Instagram[5] user @zuccy123456 reposted a screenshot of the interaction, gaining over 7,800 likes in three months (shown below).

Use of the term Diddy Blud spread in the following months. For instance, on April 27th, 2025, TikToker[8] @dr.tenmauncl posted a video about "When the teacher says 'Boys vs. Girls,'" showing JamWayne as "The Diddy Bluds." In a month, the video received over 97,500 likes (shown below).

JellyBean Is A Diddy Blud

JellyBean 'Diddy Blud' Trollface Roasts, also known as JellyBean vs. Trollface and JellyBean is a Diddy Blud, refers to a series of videos in which PNGTuber JellyBean is interrupted and roasted by Phonk Trollge (Trollface) PNGTubers, who often have a deep voice and call JellyBean a "Diddy Blud." Many of the Trollface avatars were built in Roblox and had an African or Jamaican accent. The Trollface characters were ironically trying too hard to be "sigma," akin to stereotypes about phonk music enjoyers, related to ironic phonk memes like Mango Phonk. The trend started on TikTok and Instagram in 2025.

For instance, on May 11th, 2025, TikToker[9] @diddyblud3 posted an iteration of the format, gaining over 58,800 likes in 12 days (shown below).
