Despite countless classes and textbooks teaching us history over the years, it is actually memes that help us absorb information the best. And, since world history tends to be incredibly depressing, it's important to find humor to make storytelling easier. While history memes are always popular, sometimes we prefer something simpler. Something that won't teach us anything, that is. Not everything has to be educational or focused on the mistakes of the past when we could instead pretend these memes reflect reality.
Of course, this comes with an obligatory note that these memes are not accurate in the slightest, and you should never try to gather real information from any of these. We're not a fake news site, but all of this news is super old anyway (it is history, of course), so we can't go too wrong. Below are 13 images selected from the fake history fandom, where users submit their take on what happened in history with parody memes.
