None of us can accurately predict the future. It's just a fact of life. No matter how much everyone wants a little predictability in the future, especially when it comes to things like finance, nothing ever goes as exactly planned. In fact, many predictions people make about various things can turn out to be dramatically wrong, often to the point where they're hilarious.
The following images contain predictions that didn't exactly age like a fine wine. Instead, they aged like milk. Some are downright embarrassing, and others were something lots of people believed as well, but all of them have now turned out to be pretty far from the truth, and the irony they've created is truly entertaining.
