Two memes from /r/place.

The Funniest Memes About Reddit's 'Place' 2022

The subreddit /r/place was created by the social networking site Reddit in 2017. The novelty experiment allowed users to create pixel art on a huge blank canvas, and required coordination from communities as only 1 pixel could be placed by each user every 5 minutes. 5 years later in 2022, Reddit decided to bring back /r/place, much to the delight of the Reddit community. Within the 4 days of its existence, 4.6 million members joined the /r/place subreddit, with millions contributing to the canvas and millions more watching it being created through various streams. Whilst pixel art was the focus, many people created humorous memes about the event which became viral throughout Reddit and social media. Here are the most popular and funniest memes that were made about /r/place.
