Did Jeffree Star Leave Hollywood To Escape From 'The Illuminati'?
Jeffree Star is a beauty guru many consider too big to fail. For those in the know about the YouTube beauty community and its squabbles, Jeffree Star is a notorious instigator. After Tati accused him of orchestrating the Dramageddon of 2019, Jeffree Star famously left his Hollywood abode for life on a yak ranch in remote Wyoming.
But there appears to be more to the story, after Star revealed in a series of bizarre tweets in late December 2022 that he was actually escaping from the "Hollywood Illuminati." Here's the story.
What Did Jeffree Star Say About The Illuminati?
Jeffree Star took to Twitter on December 30th to say that he had a "crazy f*cking year," going on to say, "I escaped the Illuminati in 2021 and they still haven’t killed me. Every day I wake up grateful." He went on to say "In 2020 I was going to expose everything… In a matter of days, the Hollywood elite tried to ruin my entire career, villainize me and flooded the news with lies to discredit me. If you guys only knew the truth about what they are doing to Britney & Kayne."
What Happened To Jeffree Star In 2020?
Jeffree's revelations about a cult trying to suppress him with "lies" and fake news is likely a reference to the 2020 Karmageddon involving Star and infamous weirdo Shawn Dawson. News about Jeffree and Dawson's role in instigating the Tati Westbrook-James Charles feud made the rounds in the summer of 2020.
This was exacerbated by new revelations about Star's alleged history of blackmailing influencers and Dawson's history of sexism, racism, disturbing comments about his cat, and rumors of pedophilia.
How Did People React To Jeffree's News?
The tweets were reposted and amplified by the Twitter page Popbase, which brought millions of eyeballs to Jeffree's bizarre tweets. Star had spent most of 2022 flying under the radar, with no major scandals after Karmageddon worth noting. His sudden revelation about a secret cult hounding him set several eyes rolling, with one poster asking if he got the engagement he wanted, and another asking if "grandma" wanted to be put to bed already.
Other readers took note of what Jeffree seemed to implying: that his terrible behavior from past years was largely fabricated by a team of "Hollywood elites," who are also the Illuminati, and supposedly made him say the N-word in 2009. Of course, this does not seem like the likely explanation here.
