In mid-December 2023, Facebook user Zoey posted several photos of a Loopy plushie wearing a wig and glasses. The post was shared and liked by tens of thousands of people people who certainly agreed.

On December 22nd, X (formerly Twitter) user @michaelreeves posted a meme using the Whisper font, saying that "girl(s who) look like this has the permission to ruin my life."

The meme also spread through redraws and fanart; Facebook user MechaRiot combined two popular Chinese memes and made an image featuring Loopy with Glasses and the Chinese Bear Animation in late December.
