Twitter (now X) user @hugtulip posed the question in May 2024, receiving a variety of responses, which include Doney from Shrek with his Dragon wife, and the characters from PEN15.

As the catchphrase grew more commonplace, more memes began using it to joke about topics beyond Tinashe's song.
