About
I Like Watching Weird Movies but No One Can Match My Freak, also known as There Is Always a Bigger Freak, refers to a meme template showing a male and female character discussing edgy horror movies, both under the impression that theirs is harder to watch. The grey-colored male character (labeled "EDGY") is shown saying the "match my freak" affirmation while thinking about the film The Human Centipede. The female character (dressed like a doctor) replies, "omg same!" and is shown thinking about the graphic gore film Slow Torture Puke Chamber with "(DO NOT WATCH THIS.)" written below it. After the original meme was posted to Twitter / X in June 2024, discourse ensued over edgy horror films and the template was recaptioned and exploited as people replaced the words and movies in the speech bubbles and thought bubbles.
