In 2008, the direct-to-DVD movie Barbie and the Diamond Castle was released. Whatever the movie is about doesn't really matter. All you need to know is that there are two little white dogs named Lily and Sparkles that dance several times throughout it. We're not talking some silly little dog-jumping-on-its-back-feet dancing, either. We're talking full-on, dog-style TikTok dancing.

Lily and Sparkles are really putting their whole dogussys into the dancing and although it took a while, TikTokers have finally realized how great these clips are. Throughout 2022, TikTokers started to use the various clips of the dogs dancing in edits, mostly setting the clips to different songs. The dancing fits perfectly with the song and TikTokers took it upon themselves to keep on setting the clips to it along with new captions about being "a baddy with your baddy friend," as the lyrics go.

TikTokers have taken the meme a step further now thanks to a green screen edit of the clips, resulting in memes where the dogs dance in new locations, allowing for more meme possibilities. The virality of the memes has also inspired TikTokers to do the dances themselves or even make their dogs do the dances. They may not be animated very well, but these dogs ate and TikTok won't let you forget about it.
