Filmed at Fontaine's Oyster House in Atlanta, Georgia, a local spot for many Atlantans, Equanaaa decided to film the entirety of her bad date, post it to TikTok and let the discourse ensue. Unfortunately for her (yet hilariously for the internet), many did not take her side, finding her documentation of the event objectively strange.

The original video was posted by TikToker Equanaaa on Wednesday, starting with her approaching "Fontaine's Oyster bar" and telling the viewer about how she was meeting up with a man that she was not interested in.

As the video continued, it was apparent that Equanaaa could not keep her phone in her pocket, seemingly having it out the entire time with the flash on to record four plates of oysters (48 oysters) touch down on the table. Plus, she ordered many drinks and an extra plate of potatoes and crab cakes.

The video ended with Equanaaa saying that the man had walked out on the tab, leaving her to pay. It also looked like she gave the waiter or waitress something close to a $15 tip.

Because the story's gone viral, Fontaine's Oyster House actually released a statement about the event. Miles Klee at Rolling Stone obtained the insider scoop, speaking with Kelcey Flanagan, the general manager of the now-famous oyster bar.

In the interview, Flanagan said that she was working that night and remembers it all being "quite funny." She also said that customers have ordered much more than Equanaaa did. For instance, one time, two ladies apparently ordered six dozen oysters each plus multiple white Russians.
