The "Minecraft Mob Vote Revolution" has been trending online since earlier this month, prompting numerous forms of protest.

How The 'Minecraft Mob Vote Revolution' Is Planning To Rally Against Video Game Developer Mojang

The Minecraft Mob Vote Revolution, also known as "End the Mob Vote," is a movement that emerged on TikTok earlier this month in which players of the popular survival-builder are protesting the annual Minecraft mob vote event, beginning earlier this month.

During this yearly event, players choose one out of three potential mobs to be added to the video game. This time around, however, the revolution's supporters advocate for developer Mojang to incorporate all the proposed mobs into the game, rather than having players select only one, as they fail to understand why all the mobs can't be added or why the losing mobs can't be introduced at a later date instead of being permanently discarded.

Over the last two weeks, a Change.org petition was launched that has since garnered over 300,000 signatures in just four days. So what's going on with this digital protest and why is it making the rounds online? Let's explain in our latest video what the Minecraft Mob Vote Revolution is all about.
