Why Is Sean Astin Trending on Twitter?

Earlier today, the world woke up to see actor Sean Astin trending, thanks to the following tweet written by @samxgrace:

No one was more surprised by this show of social media affection than the actor himself, who immediately tweeted the following:

Some users grew concerned that people only knew Sean Astin from Stranger Things and not all of the other films he poured his blood, sweat and tears into. What followed was an array of tweets that placed a proper focus on his other unforgettable roles.
