It's Been A Hard Week, Let Ratatouille Dad Help You Deal With It
Anton Ego, the food critic from Ratatouille, has a life-affirming experience when he tastes titular dish in the climax of the Pixar classic. Transporting him back to his childhood, Ego relishes in the memories that flood his senses when he eats the entrée devised by a man controlled by a rat. The scene remains one of the most memorable in Pixar's history, turning the film's villain into its emotional core.
So when TikToker dressed his dad up in that black blazer and scarf, it was destined to be a viral hit. With the dad's infectious attitude to play along, the video becomes something that's delicious enough to make even Anton Ego himself crack a smile.
Dad absolutely did nail it. But the video was so successful that they couldn't help but go back for seconds. Don't worry. The sequel is far more like Toy Story 2 than Finding Dory. Rather than just playing dress-up, we get an entire remake of the climactic scene from Ratatouille.
