About
The Doechii Asian Voice Controversy refers to a controversy surrounding a video of singer-songwriter and rapper Doechii seemingly speaking in an exaggerated Asian accent, which some called racist. The clip was from one of Doechii's old YouTube videos. It was shared on Twitter / X in late April 2025. As it spread, some people agreed with the original poster's claim while others disagreed, stating that it was not an Asian accent. The tweet was also speculated to be rage bait aimed at Doechii's fans, following a series of memes making fun of the singer and her song "Anxiety," which also surfaced en masse online in April 2025.
