Min Min Is Now Out In Smash Ultimate, And Players Are Excited To Break The Game
Nintendo made a splash last week when it announced the first fighter from the second DLC pack of Super Smash Brothers Ultimate, Min Min from ARMS. While the announcement of an ARMS fighter didn't necessarily shock fans who had been paying close attention to the Smash rumor mill, fans were nevertheless excited to see Min Min join the battle and wondered about how she'd play. After all, Smash Ultimate has a history of adding some game-breaking DLC (such as Bayonetta in Smash Wii U and Hero in Ultimate), and with Min Min's incredible punch range, people wondered if she would follow suit. On Monday, fans were finally able to get their arms on the arms fighter and the reactions have been fairly mixed.
Many were very stoked about what Min Min brought to the table.
Min min has everything I wanted in SonicHer F Smash, her Up smash, her Up Tilt, her Dash Attack…This is the most fun I've had with any other character outside of Sonic, honestly 😳

Others were less thrilled.
Minmin has to be one of the worst designed characters in the game. Her airspeed is literally Luigi tier. The better I get with understanding her, the more mediocre she feels.

In short, the Smash community appears to be reacting to Min Min the way the Smash community usually reacts: excitement, salt, and memes. We'll likely have to wait for the competitive scene to begin using the character to get a true feel for how the Smash community really feels about Min Min.
