A furry green wolf is getting heat on TikTok right now for singing what some people are calling one of the worst songs of all time.

The song, known as "Don't Touch My Pizza," may sound like a relic of the 2010s, but it actually came out in 2023, and ever since it was immortalized by animator Nyanwolf, it's proven incredibly controversial online.

What Is The 'Don't Touch My Pizza' Song?

"Don't Touch My Pizza" was released by musical artist Zombycare back on June 16th, 2023. The song uses the beat of a royalty-free song by Kevin MacLeod titled "Pixel Peeker Polka," with the artist editing the beat and adding lyrics about loving pizza and jelly, hating blue cheese and warning others to please not touch their pizza.

About a year later on July 14th, 2024, furry and animator Nyanwolf posted an animation meme based on the song. The animation shows Nyanwolf's fursona singing and playing along to the song.

This animation meme has essentially become inseparable from the song since, with many associating the song with the animation meme rather than Zombycare.

How Is 'Don't Touch My Pizza' Used In Memes?

Nyanwolf's animation went viral throughout the latter half of 2024, gaining it both fans and haters. Some fans love the "early internet" vibes of the song and animation, likening it to something you might see and hear in the early-to-mid 2010s.

Others hate it for exactly that reason and see the song as cringe, with some of that hate seemingly coming from people who simply don't like furries.

In March 2025, the song started to go viral on TikTok as the widespread subject of criticism. One TikToker, a fan of the song who posted a video in December 2024 drawing Nyanwolf as he appears in the animation, blames SlimeTok fans (a community on TikTok who mostly listen to underground hip-hop music) for the hate.
