As you might have noticed already, MTV will be sponsoring our research of a few entries, which will be featured on the homepage from June 21st – 28th. Thank you all for understanding!

Sounds cool. DPF and I were actually just talking about MTV in the IRC a few hours ago…

Is Awkward any good? Also, I will be ok with this if I don't see a Jersey Shore ad.

Don't tell 4chan, Operation Stop Their Scheme started because of people profiting off memes. Personally, I'm fine with it, though I can't say the same about the people in the unhelpful high school teacher entry.

The Awkaward sponsor also appeared on Memebase sites and they also made an Awkward site just like the Yaris site last year. Lots of people are angry about this decision.

Why do people hate Awkward?

I'm not hating on Awkward, but why is a television show (on MTV) sponsoring memes?
